BPUG Workshop – Prioritisation in Projects and Programmes – 27th June 2011 - Hosted by The Met Office – Presented by Eddie Borup

During this workshop delegates heard that in this current climate it is even more essential that an organisation is doing the right projects. The event consisted of a series of inputs and then practical sessions, helping delegates re-visit their existing portfolios, programmes or projects, as well as validating priorities. Delegates were provided with practical tools to ensure new work is kicked off with the right decision making information for a changing environment. The event covered four areas:

  1. From scoping to planning – how to ensure that your project can still deliver value.
  2. Prioritisation in a changing environment.
  3. Getting the right information to key decision makers.
  4. Learning how to stop projects.
